Terms & Conditions
By booking one of my services:
•You understand it is your responsibility to manage your own booking through logging into the Wix website or through the 'Fit by Wix' app (to join the app you'll be asked for an invite code F44ZAP)
•You consent to participating in yoga at your own risk and confirm that you have no physical limitations that prevent you from practising yoga/breathwork (or you have consulted with your GP for any injuries / health conditions or before starting a new exercise regime).
•You understand that it is your responsibility to inform Sophie of any injuries / relevant health conditions (this includes pregnancy) and should complete a Health Waiver form before your first session (and every 6 months / if anything changes).
•You understand that general classes (Yoga & Breathwork) are unsuitable for pregnant women. If you are pregnant (2nd trimester onwards) please see my Pregnancy Yoga classes.
•You understand that yoga is a physical activity and therefore carries the possibility of physical injury and you assume all risk of injury to yourself. You agree to release Sophie Ward of Sophie Ward Wellness of liability for any injury to persons or any loss or damage to property before, during or after a class.
•You confirm that you are over the age of 16. Children from the age of 12 can attend class if accompanied by a parent /guardian and a Youth Waiver Form has been completed. It is recommended that you attend a class first to establish whether you feel it would be suitable for your child.
•You understand that Sophie acts as a guide only and this is your practice, therefore you are encouraged to listen to your body and take rest when you need to. If something doesn't feel right or is painful, please stop, take rest or try a different variation.
•You have read the safety precautions within the class description and understand your responsibilities in adhering to the guidelines in the best interests of yourself and others.
•DURING THE SESSION:
- Sophie will arrive at the session 15 minutes before the session start time to set up. Please aim to arrive 5 minutes before ready to start, no earlier please.
- Please ensure your phone is turned off / on silent for the duration of your session.
•CANCELLATION POLICY -
All sessions are non-refundable.
You are encouraged to manage your regular bookings online by logging into your Wix account (top right of web page) or using the Fit by Wix app. You can transfer your class to another week once without charge, 24+ hours before a weekly yoga class. Any late cancellations or no shows will unfortunately be lost.
Workshops and events are generally non-transferrable. If you find you can no longer attend, please contact me. For regular events (i.e monthly Yin/Breathwork) I may be able to reschedule with 72+ hours' notice if there is another event the following month.
If you have forgotten your password, simply click 'forgot password' and a reset password link will be automatically sent to you.
Unfortunately last minute cancellations (although I appreciate can sometimes be unavoidable) and no shows cannot be rescheduled and your session will be lost (this also applies if you have a class pass or subscription).
As a small business, I am unable to offer refunds apart from in exceptional circumstances. Please get in touch if you have any concerns about your booking - email@example.com
If you make a mistake in booking (i.e duplicates, wrong date) - I can offer a refund in this case - but it will be minus processing fees.
If the session is cancelled our end, I will always endeavour to give as much notice as possible and you will be offered a new date or a refund.
•CLASS PASSES / SUBSCRIPTIONS
Class passes and subscriptions are non-refundable.
You understand that a 5 class pass is only valid for 8 weeks, and any classes not used within that time period (unless prior agreement is in place) will be lost.
If you have a recurring subscription (YWS Weekly) you understand you will be billed every 4 weeks and it is your responsibility to book your 4 sessions within this time (these can be any 4 classes). If one week you can't attend your usual session (i.e due to illness) you can book onto any other class that week.
YWS Weekly & YWS Unlimited can be paused during holidays - please get in contact to arrange - I will need 1 months' notice.
•ONE TO ONE-
For 1:1 sessions, you will see time slot options on booking - but all sessions will be arranged directly at mutually agreed times (and locations if local). I will be as flexible as I can to fit in with your schedule / lifestyle.
1:1 packages are non-refundable. If you need to rearrange a session, please try and give as much notice as possible.
