Hey, I'm Sophie!
I live in Worcestershire, UK with my Husband, our 2 children and the pets!

I'm a 5/1 Projector in Human Design, a Virgo (sun) Gemini moon, Capricorn rising. My core values are freedom, community, curiosity, spirituality & authenticity. I believe my purpose is to help people marry their earthly and spiritual existences, basically navigating life in alignment with who they're meant to be!

I've always been a dreamer.. But I make sh*t happen! I would consider myself an introverted extrovert - I thrive when surrounded by like-minded people but crave regular time on my own to refill my cup. I am highly sensitive (HSP) and often find myself overstimulated and needing time to switch off.
​
Let me say this - just because I help people with healing, that does not mean I'm healed! Anyone dedicated to 'doing the work' will know that it's not a linear journey or something you can achieve, it's a lifelong commitment to yourself. I love immersing myself in my own self development and growth. If you're joining me on this journey, you too will learn to acknowledge your 'enoughness' accept and celebrate your beautifully messy, flawed imperfectly perfect self.

My role as a coach is to support you as you hold a mirror up to yourself, shine a light on your way forward, holding your hand if things get tough. I'm going to be your cheerleader when you need motivation and create a safe space for your vulnerability. I'm here to ignite that glimmer of a flame within you so you can dare to dream bigger.


MY STORY
​
For as long as I can remember I've rushed through life; catapulting myself from goal to goal but never quite achieving a sense of fulfilment. I didn't know what I was yearning for, but deep down I knew that I was meant for more.
​
I got so used to powering through when times got tough (thinking this was being strong) that this became my 'normal' and I began missing out on the joys in life too as a result of being stuck on autopilot. It was exhausting. Not only was I missing out on life, I was becoming more and more disconnected from myself and my loved ones.
​
Around 6 years ago, I reached a point I could no longer function in this state and was ultimately signed off work with stress. During this time out I stumbled upon yoga and slowly but surely began to unravel as my body learnt how to feel again. After only a few months of classes, I left a toxic workplace and signed up to do my teacher training; unbeknown at the time that I was actually embarking on the ultimate journey of self-discovery.

It's from here that my 'journey' into personal growth and healing has elevated and my whole outlook on life has changed. I finally feel like I am home with myself and my perception of what success looks and feels like has completely shifted. I have learned that once you step into who you really are, there's no going back.

Helpful Information
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTICE YOGA?
I'm often asked how often someone should practise yoga to feel the benefit - and really there is no right answer to this question! By attending practice regularly (once or twice per week is fine) due to the repetitive nature of Vinyasa flow classes you will begin to pick up some of the sequences, allowing you to practice these in your own time. The mindful techniques used in classes are so effective and so easy to slot into your daily routine. Part of the journey is also learning to listen to and honour the needs of your body, especially when it's telling you it needs rest!
CAN I PRACTICE YOGA IF I HAVE AN INJURY / ILLNESS?
It's always best to inform me before a class if you have any injuries or medical conditions I need to be aware of (i.e. anything you require medication for) as well as ensuring you have completed a health declaration form. However please note that I am NOT a medical professional- I may ask for sign off from your GP just to ensure you are safe to practice, or advise you seek guidance from another Health Professional. As long as I am aware of any limitation I can ensure I offer adaptations during the class to make it as comfortable as possible for you. The main thing is to LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. If something doesn't feel right, stop.
ARE CLASSES SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?
Please ensure you read the descriptions of each class before booking. I offer regular Introduction to Yoga workshops which are perfect for complete beginners.

A Gentle / Slow Flow would generally be the best class to start with if you are new to yoga. But as said previously, I always offer modifications of poses to make them accessible to as many bodies and abilities as possible.
